Who are you?

We’re looking for a dynamic IT professional with experience in a distributed application environment to join our Technology team as an Enterprise Architect. This challenging new role will be tasked with developing a robust future state architecture for TSB’s enterprise systems and assisting to facilitate change across the whole organisation.

This key role will lead the effort to define, develop and govern the enterprise architecture for TSB; coordinating all aspects and delivering a detailed technology roadmap for adoption across applications, integration, data and infrastructure. Aside from the technical aspects of this role, the focus will be on guiding and developing the capability of our broader technology team.

Working with stakeholders across the business, you’ll lead the analysis of the IT environment to identify areas for improvement, recommending architectural and technical approaches for implementing change and developing actionable deliverables to help TSB guide investment.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • A Masters’ or Bachelors’ degree in business, computer science, system analysis, computer or electrical engineering, or similar related field/equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis with an understanding of financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management
  • Familiarity with information management practices, with expertise across all components of holistic EA and business engineering principles        
  • Exposure to existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments as well as knowledge of business ecosystems, infrastructure, platforms and predictive analytics·        
  • Strong leadership skills and exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation with the ability to collaborate and add value
