We are a leading supplier of Architectural Hardware and Construction Coating products, these are supplied to the Construction and Coatings industries of New Zealand and Australia. We have been operating in New Zealand since 2005 and have distribution centres in Auckland and Christchurch.  Our products are sourced locally and throughout the USA and UK.

To support our market growth and growing Team in New Zealand, we are seeking a switched-on person to join our team to perform a wide range of duties across Customer Services, Sales Support, Office Administration. This to support our New Zealand and Australian sales teams.

We are looking for a person with great organisational and communication skills, fantastic attention to detail and a fastidious approach to your working day.  You love customers and can balance professionalism with warmth and friendliness.  Attitude is everything in our business so a can-do approach is essential.  You will be the first point of contact for our customers

A willingness to learn and add value to a team is essential. A real 'can do 'attitude will ensure success in the role.

This is an important hands-on role and will involve:

Responding to customer enquiries around price, availability, delivery

Preparing coatings quotes

*As you learn more about the process you will be giving technical advice, product information, finding solutions to problems as well as receiving extensive product training.

Administering the customer data base and marketing program

“Owning” our Web Store

Other ad hoc duties to support the whole team

 

 About you:

You will be focused on building lasting relationship with the company's clients, always delivering first class service.

Prior experience in a similar Customer service, Sales Support or Administration role

Confident systems use and computer skills (Office 365 necessary, MYOB Advanced experience preferred but not essential)

Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Take initiative and a be a team player.

Have good organisational skills and attention to detail

Be hands-on and a positive problem-solver

Experience in Hardware, Construction, Engineering or similar industry and products would be viewed favourably, but a willingness to learn is more important
