We change lives by working with partners to improve treatment for stroke and by providing free support services that enable stroke survivors to have the best possible quality of Life.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Communications Coordinator to join the Stroke Foundation Marketing team at a particularly exciting time of growth and development.

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the development and delivery of a Communications and Media strategic plan. This includes managing the delivery of all communications material (internally and externally), managing all media relationships and press engagement, delivering and managing the organisation’s website and social media channels. This role is also responsible for the creation of all written copy for online and offline publications, activity, channels and media.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in communications and media/public relations, the ability to write compelling and engaging communications pieces, a strong understanding of social media and digital communications, including website management and optimisation and a good understanding of the not-for-profit sector.

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.
