About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Sales Representative - Retail/DIY (NSW) to join our team based in Sydney.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - Retail/DIY, your role will focus on building strong partnerships with our clients to help identify new business opportunities and grow market share throughout your defined territory and customer groups. The management of both the marketing and sales activities for your territory, with the goal of positioning ASSA ABLOY Australia as the business partner of choice for both retail and trade partners, will be a key focus for this role. As required, there will be opportunities to educate our distributors' sales staff on ASSA ABLOY products and programs.
With over five years of successful sales, business development and/or key account manager experience, you will enter the role with a proven track record of achieving sals and growth goals. You will be experienced in field sales and be at ease with motivating, persuading and influencing decision makers, in order to build new business and maintain exisiting customers. You will have proven abilities in achieving results, demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills and will be financially astute in your understakings. Previous experience working with big-box retailers, residential and/or commercial accounts (HIA Tier 2-4), would be preferred but is not essential.
