The position will be located in New Plymouth and reports to the eLearning and Systems Analyst.

The Student and Learning Management Systems Administrator will:

  • Implement quality controls to ensure data integrity
  • Apply analytical tools and best practice to enable continuous improvement of service delivery.
  • Assist in simple problem resolution, business process documentation, and maintenance as related to the LMS and SMS.
  • Ensure accuracy and provide maintenance of student LMS records including student enrolment and maintenance of courses, archiving and reconciliation of course hours.

This role is permanent 20 hours per week however, there may be projects that lead to further hours from time to time.

Ideal candidate:

Demonstrated experience in analysis and administration within complex databases within an education or related setting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to organise, coordinate and prioritise tasks while working to tight deadlines. Ability to take initiative and solve problems. Attention to detail is essential together with a very high level of accuracy.
