Cosgroves provides professional consulting engineering services to the construction industry, specialising in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, civil and fire engineering. We have offices in Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown. Our Christchurch office is looking for a well organised, fun loving and motivated team player with exceptional customer service skills to cover an extended period of staff leave over the next 6 months.
The role is integral to the smooth operation of our national team and you will be working in a busy and diverse environment alongside a great team of people. This job is varied and no two days will be the same - from the day to day running of the office, booking travel for the team, assisting engineers with word processing, looking after our database and assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing. We are looking for a details focused self-starter and a key component to your success in the role will be your ability to work autonomously, communicate well, prioritise the workload and effectively manage your time.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- A high level of computer skills –Word, Excel and Outlook
- Some experience with Xero or a similar accounting programme
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- A clean driving license
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
