TANZ eCampus is looking for an Academic Quality Lead in Business, ICT and / or Adult Teaching

This is a 0.8 – 1.0 FTE permanent position.

The key responsibilities of an Academic Quality Lead are to ensure that the programmes of study delivered by TANZ eCampus meet the required academic and quality standards for online delivery.

This includes providing effective oversight on compliance and academic matters, and leading activities to improve outcomes for leaners and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Curriculum mapping
  • Supporting Learning Designers and Subject Matter Experts in the development of online courses
  • Assessment and Moderation
  • Mentoring and support
  • Course / programme review

To have an impact in this role you need to have experience in teaching and/or programme development in a tertiary environment, in the relevant disciplines, and an in-depth understanding of NZQA qualification standards post MRoQ. You also need to have an understanding of online learning pedagogy, have a high degree of digital literacy and effective communication and time management skills.

If you are also able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, have good negotiation and networking abilities, and are self-motivated with a friendly and approachable manner, we would love to hear from you.
