Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is looking for a suitably qualified person to take up the key role of Finance Manager within our Corporate Services team.
The right person for this role will also be an experienced team leader, and have a tertiary degree plus membership of a reputable Chartered Accounting Body, or comparable experience.
TToH is the mandated political and social leader of Ngati Kahungunu ki Heretaunga. Established in 1985 and based in Hastings, we are an organisation grounded in cultural values that permeate the daily work of our staff along the East Coast, from Mahia to Rimutaka.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the organisations financial transaction processing, the development and maintenance of the financial systems, policies and procedures, and the financial reporting requirements.
Understanding and experience in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software (preferably Xero) are essential.
The successful candidate will demonstrate they are able to:

- Build and sustain relationships
- Behave with honesty and integrity
- Have 3 -5 years post qualifying experience in a senior financial accounting role; and
- Proven ability to manage and develop staff
