A Head Shepherding opportunity is available on Mt Hamilton. Mt Hamilton is centrally located 12 km from Mossburn, 40 km from Te Anau and one hour from either Queenstown or Invercargill.

This position will suit either an experienced head shepherd or an individual who is looking for their next step up. The role offers a variety of responsibilities, including working with deer, cattle and general maintenance work as required. As the Head Shepherd you also provide day to day delegation and supervision of staff.

Working under a supportive Farm Manager and being part of a great team, we will get you to where you want to go in future! Mt Hamilton is a 1,800ha Angus Beef and Red Deer breeding property that winters 500 calving cows plus replacements and 1600 fawning hinds plus replacements.
