Support Services Assistant - Theatre Cleaning

Following internal movement within the Support Services area, we currently have a vacancy for a Support Services Assistant to work in our Housekeeping team to be responsible for providing optimum cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation standards, in our theatre suite area.
We are seeking a skilled multi-tasker with a confident, friendly nature who will enjoy a varied and dynamic role within a busy hospital environment.
This position is offered to be worked between 3.00pm – 9.00pm, Monday-Friday on a part-time, permanent basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the provisions of cleaning and housekeeping services to the theatre and adjoining areas within Mercy Hospital and associated clinics, and will be required to ensure the presentation of the facility is to an excellent standard at all times.
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience working in a similar cleaning/housekeeping role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and flexible
- Professional and positive attitude
- Have a proactive approach to work and be able to work in a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A clear understanding of the importance of our Mercy Values and will consistently work in line with these Values.
