Faculty Administrator (Fixed term until March 2020 – 20 hours per week)

The Faculty of Education, Health, Nursing and Social Services currently has a vacancy for a fixed term Faculty Administrator of 20 hours per week to help us work through a busy period.

The role will be based at Mokoia (Rotorua) campus in the Bay of Plenty, however from time to time travel between our other campuses may be required in a fleet vehicle.

Reporting to the Faculty Operations Manager for Education, Health, Nursing and Social Services, this role will help support the Faculty as a whole in all administration aspects connected to the demands and smooth running of a busy Faculty.

If you have a background in administration, like working in a fast paced environment where things are constantly changing, and no two days are the same, you have the ability to work well under pressure, you can think on your feet, are systems orientated, and you are able to use your initiative, then this role may be for you!

You need to have a good work ethic, be hardworking, honest, reliable and like working as part of a team but also have the ability to work autonomously.

This role will be part of a very close knit, team, and is not for the faint hearted.

The role is busy and the team often work under pressure with tight time lines, however, if you come with a great work ethic, and are a team player you will be welcomed and be part of a very supportive team who work extremely well together.

Hours of work are flexible (within reason and to be negotiated), and may suit a parent who would like to work within school hours.
