Port Nelson Ltd (PNL) is the maritime gateway for the Nelson Marlborough region – a vital hub for economic activity and a key stakeholder in the region’s continued growth and prosperity. Our QuayConnect division is the contract warehousing and distribution division of Port Nelson with a 23,000m2 modern purpose built facility on-port to cater primarily to the wine industry in the top of the South Island.
Reporting to the QuayConnect Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of all stock movement and storage through QuayConnect, and for all invoice reconciliation and processing. You will be the main point of contact for customers relating to stock control, therefore you will have a proven track record in delivering exceptional service to customers.
A team player with exceptional communication skills, and a strong customer focus will put you in good stead for this fast paced role. You will be highly organised, with a proven ability to juggle different priorities and consistently meet deadlines. You will have 2+ years in a logistics, administration or finance related role, and ideally will have had exposure to an inventory management systems, preferably SAP.
This position is a fixed term for 13 months, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. While there will be a handover period, you will need to be able to quickly pick up systems and processes.
