We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and guest focused superstar to join our Customer Service team based at The Station. This position will be a multifaceted, diverse role within Totally Tourism moving across our different businesses during their peak periods. These businesses will include but may not be limited to: Queenstown Combos, Challenge Rafting and Harris Mountain Heli-Ski.

Being front line on our Queenstown Combos, Challenge Rafting and Harris Mountain Heliski desks is a key role for customer bookings, answering phone calls, emails, face to face booking enquiries, coordinating of trips, clients and communications, as well as conducting group briefings.

The successful applicant will have great customer service skills, a friendly helpful “can do” attitude and confident communication skills.  You will need to be a quick thinker and problem solver with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, outgoing personality.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Have local knowledge of Queenstown and the tourism industry, with previous experience in a similar customer facing role being desirable.
  • Have general working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with preference given to those with knowledge of IBIS.
  • An understanding of the Snowsports industry and equipment
  • Familiarity of the maritime industry is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and school/public holidays as required
