Digital/Social/Promotions Co-ordinator

Good George Brewing - Hamilton City - Waikato

You are clever, talented and beautiful, so why settle for a job where you aren’t appreciated? We’re looking for a beer-loving, photo-filtering, witty, over-achiever to join us as the Good George Digital, Social & Promotions Coordinator.

We are on the hunt for a talented marketer to join the team, and lead our digital marketing and in bar promotional programme. You’ll need to be a hard worker, but as Confucius said, “Choose a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” (actually we read that on an Inspirational Instagram account we follow, but bang on eh!).

At Good George, we don’t do boring. Nobody around here ever sits still, because there’s always stuff to do and fun to be had. From the brewers tinkering away with new beer and cider recipes, to the venue team scouting around for the next perfect location, we’re each driven forward by this feeling of “What’s Next?”

This role involves planning, creating and executing our digital marketing strategy. You’ll be spanning our social channels, our online presence and our outward comms to Customers. As our digital go-to, you’ll need to be the online hero for our beers, our cider range and our hospitality experiences.

You’ll need to be clever with words and handy with a camera, this role is the key link between the brewery and our customers so you need to be a clear communicator. You’ll also need to be able to work well with others, as the brewery’s digital expert you’ll be providing guidance and support to the in-outlet social teams.

Another key part of the role is coordinating brewery led promotions across our restuarants and bars. Good George has a stable of 9 bars and this role will be heavily involved with our venues to create outstanding brewery marketing team led promotions that help them create better beer and cider experiences for customers.

We’re looking for a person who can get sh*t done, works to high standard, is passionate about our product and customers, and who will share a beer or cider with the team at the end of the day. We are open to new ways of doing things – in fact if you worked for us for a couple of months and didn’t have a few fresh ideas we’d be pretty seriously worried.

If all of this sounds like you, get in touch to apply and let us know you’re up for it. Why not?

Full drivers licence, a love of beer and fun attitude essential.
