About the role

We are currently seeking two fulltime Inventory Controller's (Yardman) for our Log Marshalling operations. This role has a wide variety of responsibilities. The key purpose of the role is to consistently deliver excellence and accuracy in the handling of export logs on behalf of ISO Limited.  You will be responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of storage in the log yard and maintaining accurate yard plans displaying current row locations.  The Inventory Controller will assist the Supervisor/Manager in planning and managing the loading of vessels arriving at the port as well as performing post vessel reconciliations and log yard checks.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, computer and administrative skills and have a solid understanding of log marshalling practices.  This role is very hands on and will require you to assist with the check-point, log scaling and the operations of plant and equipment in the log yards as and when required. 


  • Maintaining an inventory management database
  • Producing and maintaining accurate yard plans
  • Marking up rows and docket checking rows
  • Input of Time and Productions sheets
  • Completing & entering Safe Behaviour Observations and identifying and controlling hazards
  • Ensure machine operator breaks are monitored
  • Follow best marshalling practices, SOP's and company policy
