An interest and experience of treating Neurological conditions is essential to the applicant of this role. The majority of the clinical caseload involves adults with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions. Clients are treated both in our purpose-built rehabilitation gym and in a home setting. This role also involves treatment of musculoskeletal clients.
As a specialist physiotherapist you will be energised by the thought of operating as part of a passionate, committed multi-disciplinary team working in a range of environments. Our rehab team consists of an OT, Sports Therapist, Arts and Rehabilitation Therapist and Drama Therapist. The successful applicant will be innovative and can effectively build and manage relationships with clients, families and support staff. You will be experienced working in the community, in managing the pathway from assessments to planning, interventions, outcomes measurement and review.
Your willingness and ability to work with others, sharing your knowledge and experience is crucial. ACC experience is preferred, but not essential.
