Oceana Gold (New Zealand) Limited has a reputation for operational innovation and environmental responsibility. Oceana Gold owns and operates a mine at Reefton and an open pit and underground mine situated at our Macraes Operation situated 90km north of Dunedin.
Due to the exciting transition to owner/operator of Fraser Underground Mine we are looking for an experienced Jumbo Operator. If you are a Kiwi looking to return home, or looking for a residential role whilst working in mining, then this could be an opportunity for you.
To be successful applicants will possess:
- Previous underground mining experience as a Jumbo Operator;
- The ability to work well in a team environment and mentor and coach others;
- A good work ethic and a proven safety record
The shift pattern is a rotating shift of 7 days on, 3 days off, 7 nights on, 4 days off from 7.00am/pm to 7.00pm/am.
