Intermediate/Senior Commercial Litigator
We are urgently seeking a new team member for our litigation team. You will work closely with a partner Edward Cox.
if you are a competent litigator with solid New Zealand work experience that has the confidence, discipline, and ability to work independently, you could be just the person we are looking for.
Key skills and attributes include:
- Advocacy
- Client relationship building (to build and foster relationships)
- Discipline (to manage files and an eye for detail)
- Communication skills (including a Plain English approach to writing)
- Ambition
We envisage that you can run most types of files and Court proceedings within our principal specialist practice area of bank and finance company recovery including:
- summary judgments, liquidations, loan bankruptcies
- defended commercial proceedings
- advising on secured creditors remedies and priorities
- insolvency
- Property law Act and Land Transfer Act litigation
