Intermediate Graphic Designer
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Intermediate Graphic Designer to assist in a boutique design company working with many of the region’s leading businesses and organisations.
This is a part time position of up to 20 hours per week with a degree of flexibility, however could lead to full time work in the future.
As a key member of a small design team, this role will involve working on print and brand development with multiple clients on numerous projects from logo design to print advertising and marketing collateral to packaging design.
To be successful with this role you must:
- Be passionate about design
- Have a strong commercial background supported by a minimum of 2-3 years experience at a design company or freelancing
- Possess strong skills in print production and have previously dealt directly with printers
- Have good organisational skills with the ability to work independently without close supervision
- A design qualification is preferred and would be a definite advantage.
Additionally, you must have experience using the Mac platform with a sound knowledge of:
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Illustrator
Alongside your outstanding design skills, your core abilities will include multitasking and delivering to deadlines while under pressure.
The perfect candidate will possess all the skills abilities listed above, have a fun outlook with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office for Mac Word, Excel and Powerpoint, be able to present and interact with clients, and fit quickly and easily into our small dynamic team.
