A part-time position providing administrative support to the Iris Conductive Education team
As our Conductive Education Administrator, you will be responsible for providing excellent administrative support to the Conductive Education team, including typing, filing, photocopying, answering phones, assisting with the completion of forms and ensuring attendance records are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will have experience at providing administrative and clerical support to a team with the ability to identify areas for improvement to ensure the effective running of all admin requirements. You will be culturally aware with an understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi. With your natural ability to multi-task and prioritise your work load, you will be able to demonstrate your time management skills to ensure your efficient support to your colleagues.
Essential requirements:
- 2 years administrative experience, including distributing mail, filing documents, typing, ordering stationery, recording keeping and documentation
- Pleasant phone manner
- Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft office, e-mail and the internet
- Knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi
- Knowledge of the disability sector, relevant agencies and services (e.g. health, disability, social services)
- Knowledge of completing WINZ, MoH and MoE forms
This is a part time position of 15 hours per week during term times from 11:00am – 2:00pm, and starting back one week prior to Term One of the school year.
